I have been working within the liberty movement for almost 17 years now. In that time I’ve been involved in numerous organizations that all generally fought the same battle, or the same war – The war against encroaching centralization and authoritarianism. Each group and each institution has had different ideas about how to go about solving the problem of incremental tyranny.
Some of them focused on politics, others on preparedness, and still others on convincing police and military to stand on the side of freedom. Some of them had focused goals, some of them were scattered. Some had decent leadership, while the leadership in others was lacking (or self sabotaging). None of them, however, had malicious intent. None of them sought power over others, only to prevent power from being abused.
In some cases the effort became confrontational because that was the only option, as with Bundy Ranch. Liberty activists vowed never to allow another Waco or another Ruby Ridge in which federal agents violate the due process of targeted citizens, or outright murder them. And we should continue to hold to that promise. As we have seen time and time again, agencies like the FBI, ATF, CIA, etc are corrupt beyond all reckoning and there comes a point where the only solution to deal with a bully is to punch him in the teeth.
The Jan 6th event is also something that has been highly misrepresented on both sides – Leftists argue that it was an “insurrection” worse than anything seen since the Civil War in the name of installing Trump as a dictator. Many conservatives argue that it was a “honey pot” or “false flag” which was completely controlled by feds and informants. Neither claim is accurate.
Yes, there were obviously feds present at the event and yes, Capitol Police let protesters into the building as video evidence proves. But, the vast majority of people that showed up to the capitol that day were not feds. They were normal Americans seeking to air their grievances, as is their constitutional right. It is a mistake to pigeonhole very single major event as nothing more than a false flag; it’s lazy and it ignores the greater reality that many millions of people in the US are unhappy with the declining state of our nation.
As for those that claim it was an insurrection, they don’t know what an insurrection is.
Inconveniencing the government for a couple hours is not an insurrection. Protesting at the Capitol Building is not an insurrection. A real insurrection would be led by armed groups that would not leave the capitol voluntarily, and many people on both sides would die during such an action. As it stands, not a single person was killed by a Jan. 6th protester. Not one. This is not something that can be honestly said for the BLM protests which caused dozens of deaths and billions of dollars in property damage across the country.
If it had been BLM that day marching into the Capitol Building, the media would have nothing but applause and positive things to say. But because it was a show of conservative strength, they call it an insurrection and they seek to imprison the people involved. The media response to BLM vs their response to Jan 6th tells us one thing – The establishment wants to destroy conservatives and elevate leftist movements.
This debate, however, ignores the bigger question: Why is half the country angry? Why does half the country mistrust the government to the point that a potential civil war seems like the only viable option?
The establishment controlled media and the Biden Administration would argue that it is our fault. We are “conspiracy theorists” suffering from delusions of rising totalitarianism. We supposedly misinterpret everything we see as something more nefarious than what it is. We are dangerous because we are willing to lash out over changes that serve the greater good but disadvantage us in some way. Or, we are “white supremacists” and the evolving demographics of the country are triggering our inherent toxic ideology.
None of these claims are true. All of them are easily debunked propaganda, but they represent a narrative that is repeated ad nauseam on every mainstream outlet, on every social media website and by every leftist politician. There is no conspiracy theory, there is only conspiracy reality.
Almost every single “conspiracy claim” made by liberty groups over the past two decades has turned out to be true. There is indeed an authoritarian agenda at the core of our government today, and it has been gestating for many years. We saw this agenda enacted right out in the open during the pandemic lockdowns. the federal government and some state governments sought to erase nearly every protection outlined in the Bill of Rights, including free speech.
Most recently, we have seen the exposure of the Twitter Files by Elon Musk, which contain hard evidence of collusion (direct communications) between government agencies and Big Tech companies to silence the 1st Amendment rights of American citizens.
Multiple agencies have been exposed this year in a conspiracy with the old Twitter management (and undoubtedly all other large social media platforms) to censor and ban targeted individuals or groups that discuss information that is contrary to the establishment narrative. Whether it is info on Jan 6th, or info on the covid pandemic or vaccines, or info on Hunter Biden’s laptop, the FBI, DHS, the DNC, etc were all engaging in a joint effort to erase dissent and hide the facts according to internal documents and communications with Twitter staff.
The FBI in particular has even been caught PAYING Twitter staff millions of dollars to process their requests (censor people). This is proven TREASON, a violation of several elements of the Bill of Rights, and the FBI should be eliminated for it. Not reprimanded, but eliminated.
The FBI’s response to being caught was predictable. They state:
“The men and women of the FBI work every day to protect the American public. It is unfortunate that conspiracy theorists and others are feeding the American public misinformation with the sole purpose of attempting to discredit the agency.”
Translation: We are your “protectors”, therefore we can do whatever we want. Anyone that calls us out on our corrupt operations is crazy and a liar regardless of evidence. Discrediting the agency puts the public at risk. We are too big to fail.
The corporate media will come up with numerous spin devices to try to dilute the Twitter revelations, but they will fail. There is no way around it – The US government has been working with Big Tech companies to control free debate and silence citizens. The FBI has chosen a clear political side. They have gone to war against Americans that support constitutional liberty. This is illegal and if punishment is not dealt to the officials involved then eventually punishment will be enacted by members of the American public.
Conservative/libertarian rebellions usually do not happen without good reason. Conservatives prefer order rather than chaos. We prefer stability rather than crisis. We tend to want the system to work and serve the public as it is supposed to. It’s our strength as well as our weakness. Where others see a broken country, we see something that might be fixed.
We have no use for deconstructionists who see crisis and disaster as an opportunity.
That said, when it becomes clear that the system does not work, that it has been corrupted beyond redemption and that the establishment is openly instituting tyrannical policies, we aren’t going to stand by, we are going to act.
Some people claim this is “never” going to happen. Yet, tens of thousands of people showed up to face off with the feds at Bundy Ranch, half the states in the US stood against the covid mandates and thousands of people marched to the Capitol on Jan 6th. It’s only a matter of time.
I don’t think people realize how close we actually came to a kinetic civil war because of the covid mandates and the attempted vaccine passports. We were two seconds away from midnight. All I can say is, the moment someone tries to force me to take an untested Big Pharma product, I’ll put them six feet under. And, almost everyone I know feels the same way.
The big secret that’s not really secret is this: The establishment knows they are playing with fire. It’s why they backed off from the mandates. They know that their corrupt actions are fomenting civil unrest and that in some cases we have majority public support. They know that in the near future there is going to be a rebellion against them. They know this because they plan to continue chipping away at our freedoms until we snap; they just want to be able to control the outcome when we do.
The narratives we are hearing today about white supremacy, domestic terrorism, conspiracy theory and conservative rage are only about one thing: Gaslighting.
They poke and prod and stab at us, they attack us and degrade our freedoms subversively, and at the same time they paint us as the “insurrections”, the aggressors. They do this so that when we move to stop them from attacking us, the notion that we are the aggressors is already planted within the public consciousness.
This is 4th Generation warfare. It’s classic psy-ops. If you are the psychopath causing harm the best case scenario is to make your victims out to be the bad guys instead, so that when you get caught or your victims strike back you can claim to be a victim yourself.
Is this scheme going to work for establishment elites? No, not in the long term. No amount of gaslighting is going to save a psychopath when his victims come to pay him back. What the rest of the public thinks of you does not matter, only justice matters. That said, I want to reiterate the greater point here, which is that the actions of government agencies and the media suggest that the liberty movement is a legitimate threat to them.
We are far more prevalent than they care to admit. They want to paint us as fringe crazies and marginal bigots, while at the same time promoting the notion that we are capable of a national insurrection. They can’t have it both ways.
We are indeed a danger to them. Not to America, just to the despots that want to deconstruct it. What they don’t want the populace to know is that there is a very easy way to stop us – Simply stop committing treason and we will go away. Stop trying to erase our freedoms and we will back off quietly. Stop abusing governmental powers and you have nothing to fear from us.
Continue in these behaviors and policies, and yes, you should be afraid. Because once the reckoning begins, it will not stop until all elements of corruption are washed away.

Also, I agree that there’s much more of us Patriots out there that will fight for freedom than even us Patriots realize. And as others have said on other websites, the Great Reset will happen, but it will be us Patriots resetting them, not the other way around.
I had to run down to the store to get cough medicine for the wife this morning. They wanted age verification, I asked why? Lady said it was to prevent people from miss using. I said that’s their choice isn’t it. Crickets. We are so Fragile, can’t even be trusted with cough syrup?
If I were an elite and felt like I was losing control of the country. I would drop the grid and check in on everybody in two months. I would still need enough people left to fight off a foreign invasion.
As I mentioned in my last article, they are more likely to lose all the people that would have served their interests during a grid down scenario. The vast majority of prepped people are conservatives. That doesn’t mean they won’t try it, I think they will, but it will not be as effective at stopping liberty champions as they seem to imagine.
I spend half my time in very large TX city and very small East TX community. Well prep in both locations, but if trapped in the the city I’m out numbered, probably won’t make it. Always have a full tank of diesel, but this city would be hell to escape from if I delayed my departure. So many cars.

You put it into words so well Brandon. At this point one can either sink into despair viewing the corruption and criminality of our government, or simply tune it all out. The provocation, the gaslighting, the lies and the insults to our intelligence are intolerable at this point. Midnight now regarding Russia and The Ukraine) how far do you think the clock has moved back in relation to CWII?
I look around here in western MT in a semi-rural area and people are doing fairly well. Don’t get me wrong, there’s a lot of poverty and I’m not trivializing that. However huge numbers of people drive nice trucks, have houses better than kings and queens could have imagined and large yards. You can get good food outside of the GMO grocery stores. The shelves are still pretty full, by the way. The Antifa/BLM brown-shirts that we’ve observed in the cities never once made it out here and if they did, I can’t imagine it would go well for them. I think they get the fight they want when a critical mass of people start losing property and going hungry. We’re not there yet in my opinion.

Great article Brandon. Whitney Webb’s book shows that they are just criminals looking to blackmail each other. Worse, I think from my study is that they require deviant behavior on film to make it into the “big club” so they can be trusted not to rat on each other. They learned from the mob and all the security apparatuses are involved. Yes revolution only requires 3-5% to make it happen, latest figures I have seen are 20% are prepping and unvaxed. Disband all FBI leaders in DC, roll the field under the Marshall’s and let them sort the good from the bad. Don’t respect or follow instructions from any govt rep, show open disdain. I too sense that 2023 is going to be an interesting year. On the one hand, most people seem completely apathetic and uninterested in all the revelations about Deep State iniquity; on the other, I sense this massive feeling that things just can’t continue like this much longer.
Nobody is saying that everyone at Jan 6th was a Fed, that would be absurd. This does not mean that it wasn’t a false-flag event. With unwitting MAGA supporters corralled and directed by Feds, guards, etc, they were easily honey-trapped as “insurrectionists” by a complicit media.
You don’t understand what a false flag is – It’s an event planned from the ground up by manipulators, a completely fabricated crisis or attack. That’s not what Jan 6th was. They opened the doors and let people in the building, yes. But those thousands of people showed up to the capitol ON THEIR OWN to protest, of their own free will, and that’s a GOOD THING. The real psy-op is diminishing what they went there to do by claiming the event was a false flag and that the protesters were essentially puppets. Misrepresenting what a group of people were trying to achieve is not a false flag, that’s just old fashioned disinformation.
Brandon, spot on, a semi-spontaneous outpouring of the sentiment of a large portion of the nation done without the use of firearms, was used by and to the advantage of the tyrants. They knew by inviting the protester in that some would likely get out of hand. The surely foresaw this and developed a plan to use against orangeman. and the pro-USA protesters!
Brandon, it may not have been a false flag but there were plenty of agitators in the crowd that day. I was there and watched the whole thing. The capitol police opening the barricade’s and lots of goofs in black fighting with the completely understaffed Capitol police who were too busy firing tear gas at women and kids to keep them back. I did see a lot of regular people get their blood up and join in, it was hard not to get caught up in the heat of the moment but most of the truly dangerous ones in the crowd could smell BS and got them and their families out of there and the area.
I completely agree that agitators were all over the place on Jan 6th. I think my main point is that this is the norm. There’s going to be such people at every single protest against the establishment, and we have to ask ourselves a couple of questions: First, is protesting even a viable option anymore given that the government is going to paint every conservative event as an insurrection regardless? If the ballot box and the soapbox no longer function, there is only one “box” left as an option. Second, should conservative actions have some kind of leadership (even temporary leadership) to avoid being manipulated by provocateurs? And if so, how do we choose such leadership? Because, the greatest threat I can think of to conservative movements is if our leadership is chosen for us by the elites as a means to destroy us from within.

The mass controlling of information was carried out under the Trump admin. The first step was when Trump also signed CISA into law in 2018, providing the basis for the mass censorship, and even including a “rumor control” page on its website to help smack down any facts that would threaten the globalist agenda. In addition, Trump delivered the scamdemic (globalists’ wet dream on an exponential level). But even before he signed CISA into law, he signed an EO to the same effect in 2017.

Creation of the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA)–long a goal of the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) to stand up a dedicated component agency focused on cybersecurity–became a reality Friday as President Trump signed the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency Act of 2018 into law.
Introduced in June 2017 by Rep. Michael McCaul, R-Texas, the law allows DHS to restructure its existing National Protection and Programs Directorate (NPPD) to create CISA and separate it from NPPD’s other components. The idea dates back to 2016, when then-Homeland Secretary Jeh Johnson offered his support for reorganizing NPPD to create a cyber-focused agency. While the bill moved relatively quickly through the House, the bill ran into delays in the Senate before final passage on Tuesday.
“The name CISA brings recognition to the work being done, improving its ability to engage with partners and stakeholders, and recruit top cybersecurity talent,” DHS stated in a fact sheet. The new agency will have three divisions: Cybersecurity, Infrastructure Security and Emergency Communications, DHS said.

Hey, moron, have you actually read my articles on Trump? I was critical of his actions from the start, more so than anyone else in the liberty movement. Also, CISA has nothing to do with the Twitter revelations or Big Tech censorship. Not a thing. CISA is just another version of the National Protection and Programs Directorate, which was started in 2007 to defend against cyber attacks. This was way before Trump. Big Tech censorship was carried out in spite of Trump, not because of him. There is zero evidence to support your claim.
This book should be required reading for any liberty activist. The title is misleading. It’s bang on target for the conservative approach of “Where others see a broken country, we see something that might be fixed.”

It’s a real shame what happened to Oath Keepers. I’ve followed them almost since the day the group was founded and I’ve seen the good they’ve done like at Bundy Ranch and Ferguson plus Sugar pine mines. To this day I can’t think of any other big-name group in the liberty movement that’s actually willing to put themselves in harm’s way to protect liberty the way they did. And they really don’t get enough credit for that. It’s just a shame their leadership ended up being compromised. I just hope the group can survive without Rhodes.
They need to start over from scratch with an elected council, in my opinion. Rhodes bottle-necked everything, and a lot of the good things you hear about when it comes to OK were implemented without his permission. Ferguson in particular was done without his consent, and he only supported it after it garnered positive press. It wasn’t just Rhodes, either, there were a few other people in leadership that were essentially useless, and a couple even turned out to be informants. That’s what happens when you don’t vet people in leadership roles and ask them to commit to background checks. It’s one of the reasons I left – Completely disorganized leadership, along with no vetting. On top of that, Rhodes was acting strange and cowardly after Bundy Ranch and he had a couple meetings with the FBI. I suspect he was threatened and caved to their demands. OK just needs to start over and learn from past mistakes, the organization had thousands of good people involved and they can still rebuild.
I hope that’s what they do. We need orgs like them now more than ever.

To this day I believe Jan 6th was an event created primarily to sink the Trump supporters and likewise the “far right.” Or at the very least, make the red hats look like fools. I am not saying that an overwhelming majority was in on some kind of false flag. Those people away from the center of attention were there because they completely oppose gov’t overreach. I also oppose gov’t overreach and have far more in common with the group that has the conservative or right wing stamp. But Jan 6th was an extremely important event to promote more divide in the country – or better stated – the dialectic process that is truly responsible to liberate 320m people from that old pesky individual liberty stuff.
Consider the fact that for four years Trump hitched the conservative base to his wagon and that could only happen because of eights years of Obama. Obama was crowned the great divider among many other anti liberty titles. The majority of my friends are not leftists and Obama was the enemy when he came out of nowhere to run the country. As Obama was winding down and Trump announced he was going to run, and finally win, we never saw such drama (except maybe Bush / Gore). Leftists were literally in tears and the red hat conservative base partied on for the next four years.
To this day we see Trump in headlines as a disgraced figure and labeled a criminal. The leftists are in “I told you so” mode. Look at your hero now! He will look good behind bars. Anyone still tied to Trump is not taken seriously or simply labeled as crazy or worse. Now we have Biden who is labeled old and senile and many are trying to figure out how he got in. But the dialectic process must go on. Because if it wasn’t for that form of psychological warfare the corrupt politicians would be behind bars long ago.
I’ve seen no evidence that it was created, only that it was co-opted after the fact. We saw this with the Occupy Wall Street event years ago. Thousands of people showed up to protest the Fed and the banks and then by the end of it a bunch of leftists had moved in to promote socialism instead. It was derailed deliberately, but not created from thin air. People were there for a reason and then they were sidetracked.
That is a point worth considering. Politicians with the puppet press in “disaster control mode” to assign blame to any group opposing the covert communist agenda.
One saying that I coined several years ago is: It has to be your idea. That means that force will no longer be used by the relative few in power to steer the population on a targeted course. It has to be your idea.
The original Tea Party went the same way. Deliberately co-opted by the “Big Tent Republicans” which diluted the message and made it a partisan action. The the other side declared it an “astro-turf” and where is the Tea Party now?

I don’t see how half the country mistrusting the government would lead to civil war. Fighting other oppressed people because you hate the oppressor? People can be that stupid (or cynically short-sighted) when they believe there’s something in it for them in the aftermath, but everyone can see that the great reset only offers slavery for all. I really do not believe that even the most brainwashed woke-tard would actually lay down their lives for Biden, Schwab, Gates, Wall Street, the rest of the Epstein Club and the Great Reset. My field comprises the wokest of the woke, and at our last regional gathering every single one of them said they are never taking another jab and expressed regret for taking the first one, and cheered me for standing my ground (I actually lost my job and just as I was about to lose everything, got rehired because they abruptly rescinded the policy, so I’m like a real-life Lazurus at these meetings, and always the only unjabbed person). The left is not at all passionate about the people and entities writing their script is all I’m saying. At this point most only hate the right because that’s the game, but if someone was actually going to confront the assholes ruining everyone’s lives they would get out of the way and then likely join if there was momentum. Rebellion I can see, but not civil war. I believe growing understanding of the Great Reset is starting to destroy the left/right divide. Everyone is starting to realize their kids won’t be able to travel abroad or have a car or have the good times or freedom they did.
You must not have been paying attention to the behavior of the political left the past 5 years. They love their slavery and a good number of them will fight for it. They will lose, but that’s besides the point.
I guess some do, but not the middle-aged ones who have careers and children and grandchildren that I work with. I work as a visual arts teacher and I have been a complete pariah ever since I was the one person in the meeting who wouldn’t buy into the white priveledge discussion and instead kept pointing out record inequality due to the Fed, and that 9% of the population owned 90% of stocks, and hammering them with other Charles Hugh Smith stats. After that I was ignored and avoided in every meeting. It was great. When we finally returned to in-person meetings at the start of the school year and I was the only unmasked person in the entire auditorium, out of at least 200 people, I thought no one would come near me, and I’d be asked to leave. But instead many told me they admire me for standing my ground and that they will never take another shot, and they have freely admitted they were injured by it and only took it because they were forced to. So I can’t see them fighting for it. I guess it’s the college and postgrad lefties who actually love their slavery, but you have to wonder how much of that is because they think they’ll be in the Inner Party someday.
Anecdotal stories don’t erase multiple years of BLM and Antifa burning cities and looting businesses. Those are the people that will support tyranny when the time comes and they will have to be dealt with. Civil wars come in many forms; it doesn’t have to be exactly like the 1860s.
The left hates Christmas because it hates all expressions of faith in our society. On a deeper level, however, the War on Christmas is a war on America.
